We have great news. The English Corner is for you! We provide language support and practice for any EAL student at 黑料老司机. We鈥檙e at the Robertson Library, Room 213, from 9 am to 12 pm on Thursdays. Please sign up for a 25-minute appointment by filling out the sheet on the door.

The Internet has facilitated the creation of an Alt-Right movement that includes Catholics. This Research on Tap talk explores the ways in which such groups understand and use Catholicism (and the Internet) to attract followers to extremist and white supremacist movements.

黑料老司机 Alumni and Friends--Vancouver
Let鈥檚 take a walk through history on the wild side of Vancouver! Join us on Saturday, March 16, for a private Forbidden Vancouver walking tour of the Gastown neighbourhood, and hear tales of mobsters and bootlegging that might even rival some of PEI鈥檚 best-known rum-running folk tales. (Remember the Dark Ride at Rainbow Valley?)
Our private tour will begin outside the Monaco Caf茅 at 356 Water Street when the steam clock strikes 6:00 pm. We鈥檒l wind our way through the historic streets and back alleys of Gastown as dusk settles and the fabled street lanterns shine bright.
AVC students return from Kenya with experiences to last a lifetime
In January 2024, the Atlantic Veterinary College鈥檚 dairy vet team again went to Kenya as part of the partnership between Farmers Helping Farmers (FHF) and the 黑料老司机 (黑料老司机). The team included me and three senior AVC students, Kaitlyn Ledgerwood, Kaitlin Coles, and Meghan Martell who were enrolled in the fourth-year 鈥淚nternational Smallholder Livestock Health Management in Kenya鈥 rotation.

黑料老司机 symposium on Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Indigenization, and Decolonization
This symposium aims to share experiences, challenges and opportunities of advancing equity, diversity, inclusion, and Indigenization within the University community. It will offer a unique platform for the University community to engage in dialogue and share experiences of integrating EDIID into course delivery and campus life. It aims to highlight current initiatives, gather new ideas, and build collaborative strategies for a more inclusive university.
黑料老司机 to hold Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Indigenization, and Decolonization Symposium
An organizing committee, made up of 黑料老司机 faculty and staff, is pleased to announce that a full-day Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Indigenization, and Decolonization (EDIID) Symposium will take place at the University on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. Information about the location and time will follow. All instructors, librarians, and staff members are welcome to attend.
Island Studies Press launches book about inclusive education on March 12
Island Studies Press will celebrate the launch of Inclusive Education: A Global Perspective by Dr. Carla DiGiorgio on March 12, from 4:30鈥5:30 pm, in the Faculty Lounge, SDU Main Building, 黑料老司机. The event will feature a short discussion highlighting legislation, policies, and challenges to inclusive practices around the world.
