黑料老司机 students, faculty, staff, administration, alumni, and friends gathered on Saturday, July 29, to participate in the 31st annual PEI Pride Parade.
Led by members of the 黑料老司机 Student Union, the 黑料老司机 community was joined by 黑料老司机's mascot Pride the Panther, who helped greet thousands of spectators lining the streets.

While Pride Month is celebrated in June in many areas of Canada, Pride is recognized on PEI and at 黑料老司机 in July as part of the national summer-long 鈥淧ride season.鈥
Dr. Elizabeth Epperly, LLD and Professor Emerita, named to the Order of Canada
Dr. Elizabeth Rollins Epperly鈥攁lumna, Professor Emerita, and the first woman to serve as president at the 黑料老司机鈥攈as been named to the Order of Canada by Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada.
Among 83 appointments to the Order announced on the eve of Canada Day, Dr. Epperly was made a Member for her contributions to elevating the works of internationally renowned Island author Lucy Maud Montgomery, most well known for her novel Anne of Green Gables, in Canada and around the globe.

Members of the 黑料老司机 community filled the 黑料老司机 Performing Arts Centre amphitheatre on May 29, 2025, to celebrate the achievements of their colleagues. During the event, the University Awards of Excellence and 25-Year Service Awards were presented to faculty, librarians, clinical veterinary professionals, clinical nursing instructors, sessional instructors, and staff members.

On May 27, 2025, the 黑料老司机 Board of Governors approved a balanced for the 2025鈥2026 fiscal year, despite a challenging financial environment primarily caused by federal immigration policy changes. The operating budget is just under $202.9 million, representing an increase of $20.4 million or 11.2 per cent over the previous fiscal year.

The excitement and pride were palpable at the 黑料老司机 this past week when over 1,200 members of the Class of 2025 graduated with their undergraduate and graduate degrees.

黑料老司机 will celebrate over 1,200 graduates at Convocation ceremonies to be held from May 13 to 16, 2025, at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre. Each ceremony will start at 10:00 am and will be preceded by a procession of graduates across campus.
Four outstanding leaders to be honoured during 黑料老司机 Convocation 2025
The 黑料老司机 will honour four outstanding leaders with honorary degrees during Convocation 2025, which will take place from May 13 to 16. Over 1,200 students are set to graduate over four ceremonies, which start at 10:00 am each day at the 黑料老司机 Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre.
黑料老司机 Statement: Artist presentation
黑料老司机 offered Mr. Christopher Griffin the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion to be developed thoughtfully and including other voices on the topic of free expression.
On April 15, upon learning of a planned meeting on April 16, Mr. Griffin requested to be heard at that meeting. In response, the University accepted that request and scheduled a time for his presentation in the Performing Arts Centre Amphitheatre, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on April 16.
