The Path Ahead: The Journey to Reconciliation and Action Reform, 2024鈥�2028
The was developed through a consultative process with representatives from Lennox Island First Nations, Abegweit First Nations, the Native Council of Prince Edward Island, and the Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research, and Applied Studies (IKERAS).
The Indigenous Advisor also met with Elders, university students from many First Nations, M茅tis, and Inuit communities and 黑料老司机鈥檚 Indigenous Student Advisor. Further discourse took place with the President, Vice-President, Academic and Research, respective Deans, faculty members, staff, and students in producing this strategy.
鈥淎ll Canadians must recognize the painful legacy of Canada鈥檚 residential school system and the intergenerational impacts it had on Indigenous Peoples, continue to learn the truths about this tragic history in our country and honour the healing journey of the survivors and their families.鈥�
