黑料老司机 hosts Research Breakfast on February 6

The 黑料老司机 Office of Research Services will host a Research Breakfast on Thursday, February 6, from 7:30 to 9:00 am in McMillan Hall, W.A. Murphy Student Centre, on campus. 

Dr. Misty Rossiter, Jeanne and J.-Louis L茅vesque Professor in Nutrisciences and Health and a professor in Applied Human Sciences, will present 鈥淗ealthy Eating Environments: A Responsive Approach to Feeding Children.鈥

黑料老司机 presents Theology on Tap on February 3

The 黑料老司机 Department of Religious Studies will present Theology on Tap on February 3, 2025, at 7:00 pm, at the Salvador Dali Cafe, The Arts Hotel, 155 Kent Street, Charlottetown.

Dr. Peter Koritansky, professor of religious studies and philosophy, will ask the provocative question, 鈥淒oes Morality Depend on God?鈥 Participants can expect an engaging talk, excellent discussion, and much fellowship and fun.

黑料老司机 Athletics and Recreation receives 2023 Canada Games legacy funding for lighting project

The 黑料老司机 Department of Athletics and Recreation is thrilled to announce that the 2023 Canada Games Legacy Fund has awarded funds to install lighting to enhance the sport and community experience at 黑料老司机 Alumni Canada Games Place.

The project is a collaboration between the Government of Prince Edward Island, the City of Charlottetown, Holland College, and the University.

Lauren Rainford and Kyree Thompson named 黑料老司机 Panther Athletes of the Week

Every week, 黑料老司机 Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 黑料老司机 Panther Athletes of the Week for January 20鈥26, 2025, are Lauren Rainford (women鈥檚 basketball) and Kyree Thompson (men鈥檚 basketball).

Rainford, a fifth-year arts student from Toronto, Ontario, played very strong games on January 24 and 25 in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. She averaged a team-high 25.0 points along with 4.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in a weekend split with the Acadia University Axewomen.

This program is designed for international undergraduate students who are seeking their first professional Canadian work experience.
