Dr. Larry Hammell, professor of health management, Atlantic Veterinary College at ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú, is the recipient of the College’s 2022 Atlantic Award of Excellence in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Care.

Four poems from Dr. Laurie Brinklow’s PEI Book Award-winning poetry book, My island’s the house I sleep in at night (Island Studies Press/Walleah Press), have been set to music by Don Kay, one of Tasmania’s best-loved composers.

The ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú will hold Convocation during four ceremonies scheduled for May 16 to 19. Over 1,100 graduates comprise the Class of 2023.

On Thursday, May 11, six student teams will pitch their business for a share of $56,000 in prize money during the Panther Pitch Competition. The event, which is open to the public, will take place from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in Don and Marion McDougall Hall, Room 242.

Dr. Greg Naterer, Vice-President Academic and Research at the ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú, received the K.Y. Lo Medal for significant engineering contributions at the international level from the Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC) on Friday, April 21, 2023, in Gatineau, Quebec.
