黑料老司机 Board of Governors Chair Shannon MacDonald and President and Vice-Chancellor Wendy Rodgers issued a joint message to the campus community announcing that the implementation plans for Year 0 and Year 1 for the 黑料老司机 Action Plan are available on upei.ca.

The Honourable Catherine Callbeck, OC, OPEI, LLD, Chancellor Emerita, businesswoman and former member of the Senate of Canada, Premier of Prince Edward Island, Member of Parliament, and Member of the Legislature, has created an endowment to support women studying in the McDougall Faculty of Business at the 黑料老司机.

The 黑料老司机 congratulates alumna Alysha Corrigan, a former 黑料老司机 Women鈥檚 Rugby student-athlete, who has been named to Team Canada鈥檚 Women鈥檚 Rugby Sevens team that will compete at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The 27-year-old Charlottetown native is the only player east of Ontario to be named to the Olympic team. 

In follow up to two recent campus town halls, President Rodgers sent a message to the 黑料老司机 community outlining the themes that emerged from the events.

Ten 黑料老司机 students learned about the distinctions and commonalities among Indigenous peoples worldwide by comparing their language and knowledge with that of the M膩ori people during the Maymester course, 鈥淕lobal Indigenous Language and Cultural Ways of Knowing,鈥� which took place at 黑料老司机 and in New Zealand from May 6 to June 13.

黑料老司机鈥檚 Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) is establishing a new fellowship program for incoming and existing graduate students in research thesis-based graduate programs.

Representatives of 黑料老司机鈥檚 Island Studies program recently exchanged ideas, expertise, and research with delegates attending islands-related conferences in Ireland and Indonesia.

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at 黑料老司机 is proud to announce that Dr. Darcy Shaw, professor emeritus, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, is the recipient of the prestigious Distinguished Member Award awarded by the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA). 

The Canadian Wildlife Health Cooperative (CWHC), Atlantic Region at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), 黑料老司机 (黑料老司机), is working with the Government of Prince Edward Island鈥檚 (PEI) Fish and Wildlife Division to help monitor one of our elusive resident bat species: the Northern Myotis.
