Minhye Lee, a third-year student at the Atlantic Veterinary College is taking action to help protect birds on campus through a new initiative focused on evaluating bird-window collisions and looking for the community's assistance.

Dr. Jay Penney, associate professor and Canada Research Chair in Biomedical Genetics at the Atlantic Veterinary College has been awarded a three-year research grant to study a newly discovered genetic mutation linked to Parkinson’s disease.

The Atlantic Veterinary Collegeis opening the door to more Canadian veterinary students by reclassifying its 19 international seats as unsubsidized, beginning with the 2025–2026 admissions cycle. 

The Atlantic Veterinary College, ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú welcomed 67 new veterinarians to the profession at the annual White Coat Ceremony on May 13.

Dr. Rhonda Hamilton, a graduate of the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú (ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú), is the winner of the College’s 2024 Atlantic Award of Excellence in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Care.

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú has once again been awarded full accreditation by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Council on Education (COE) for the next seven years.
